A shuttle will be picked up and dropped off from the Vermont Inn and the Best Western on Friday night for the welcome party and on Saturday for the ceremony through Sangeet (pick up at 2 pm and drop-offs hourly from 9 pm to 12 am).

Saturday, Sept. 28th
The morning is free! We recommend going on a hike, checking out the local diner (Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice), the local coffee shop (Speakeasy cafe), or scheduling an activity ahead of time at Mountain Top Inn & Resort (there’s a spa, horseback riding, a tennis court to name a few).

Attire: Indian or U.S. formal attire. Indian attire is welcomed/encouraged but not required. The color palette is Autumn and the bride will be in burnt-orange. The ceremony is outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting. Note, the mountains can be chilly in the late-afternoon.

The Baraat is the groom’s procession to the wedding ceremony. The groom’s side will be dancing and parading to the ceremony at the knoll. The bride’s side can meet the groom’s side at the Knoll.

We will begin the Sangeet/Reception with organized Indian dances. You are welcome to coordinate a dance with a group! We have a dance for all guests to learn that will end the coordinated dances. After dance performances, we will have dinner and dancing.
Attire: The cocktail hour and sangeet following the ceremony with no time to change.
